Right to cancel
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you want to cancel it. You do not need to give a reason. Once you have told us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.
To cancel, email madebymaggiephotography@gmail.comwith your order number. Please contact us before sending anything back, so we can confirm the return and process your refund correctly.

Condition
Items must come back unused and undamaged, in their original packaging. Prints and framed prints are fragile, so please pack them as they arrived. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to inspect the item.
Return postage
You pay the cost of returning the item. We recommend a tracked service, as we can only refund goods that reach us.
Refunds
We refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the item back, or of your proof of postage, whichever comes first. Your refund includes the standard delivery charge you paid on the original order. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
Damaged, defective or wrong items
Please check your order on arrival and email us straight away with a photo. These are covered by your statutory rights, separately from the cancellation period above: we will replace or refund the item and cover all postage. You have 30 days to reject a faulty item for a full refund.
Production and delivery
Every print is made to order and shipped from the production facility closest to you. Delivery times vary by destination and by whether the print is framed. All orders are delivered within 30 days of purchase at the latest; in practice most arrive well before that. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is dispatched, including tracking where the carrier provides it. Customs checks and carrier delays are outside our control.
Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and what you have ordered, so you always see the exact cost before paying. We ship worldwide. Orders outside the United Kingdom may attract import duties or taxes on arrival; these are set by the destination country, are not included in our prices, and are the recipient's responsibility.
Copyright in the images
All photographs remain the copyright of the photographer. Buying a print buys the physical object and the right to display it privately in your own home or workplace. It does not transfer any rights in the image. You may not reproduce, scan, copy, digitise, re-photograph for sale, or use the image commercially, and you may not resell prints as a retailer or produce derivative works, without written permission.
Colour and appearance
Prints are photographed and displayed on screen. Screens vary in calibration, so small differences between what you see and the print you receive are normal and are not a defect. Because every print is made to order, minor variation between individual prints is also normal.
Orders, prices and liability
Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract forms when we email you to confirm dispatch. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. If a price or product description is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fulfil it at the incorrect price.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, and we are not liable for business losses. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own country.
Privacy
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is your basket: a Shopify basket reference and an item count, kept in local storage so the basket survives a page reload. Clearing your browser data removes them.
When you check out, you leave this site for Shopify, who process your name, delivery and billing address, email address and payment details in order to take the order. We never see or store your card details. Our print partner Gelato receives your name and delivery address so they can produce and ship the print, and nothing else. Our host processes standard server logs, including IP addresses, to serve the site.
We use your details to fulfil your order, to contact you about it, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
You can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailingmadebymaggiephotography@gmail.com. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, then delete them.
The full privacy notice covering checkout, including the detail of what Shopify collects and your rights under UK GDPR, is here:Privacy policy. Where the two differ, that notice governs.
